Provides an anonymous behavioral health counseling hotline service, operated through TRICARE, that gives all Marines (regular, reserve, veteran or retiree), attached sailors and family members a place to call and speak with "one of their own." It's a non-medical place to talk about everything from everyday stressors to post-traumatic stress. DSTRESS Line counselors won't diagnose symptoms, but they will work with callers to help with a way forward.

Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska: At Ease

Provides confidential, individualized counseling services for active military personnel, veterans and their loved ones. All veterans and their loved ones will be accepted regardless of ability to pay. At Ease is coordinated from the LFS Bellevue office, but veterans and their loved ones may also be served at LFS locations in Blair, Plattsmouth, Fremont, Papillion and four Omaha area locations. Additionally, Telehealth sessions can be used to serve veterans and/or their loved ones living in greater Nebraska.

A non-profit organization that has dedicated 35 years to helping our members and their families, as well as other people with disabilities. The Great Plains PVA strives to provide a unique blend of educational, vocational, social and recreational activities.

Vet to Vet

A consumer/provider partnership program that utilizes veterans in recovery in a peer-counseling capacity to help other veterans. Vet to Vet is administered by veterans who themselves have been consumers of VA mental-health services. Vet to Vet provides a six-week, peer-facilitator training program that teaches veterans how to facilitate peer group sessions and introduce program learning topics.
