Patriot-News - 4/2/2021
York County Prison Warden Clair Doll has been chosen to be the executive director of York County Human Services department, according to a press release.
Doll will oversee six Human Services agencies – Area Agency on Aging; Children, Youth and Families; Health Choices; York/Adams Mental Health- Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (MH-IDD); York/Adams Drug and Alcohol Commission and the Youth Development Center.
He will start in his new role with the county on May 3. Deputy Warden Adam Ogle will assume leadership in an interim capacity after Mr. Doll’s departure, the release said.
“I believe the fields of corrections and human services are intertwined,” Doll said in the release. “My hopes are that I can serve even more people in this new position.”
Doll was named the warden of York County Prison in May 2017, the release said.
He had worked at the prison as a treatment supervisor for nearly two years before taking a job with the state Department of Corrections. He returned to the county as the prison’s deputy warden of treatment in August 2008.
